  • What is the cost and do I have to pay prior?

    The cost is $29.95+tax/pp for an amazing 60 minute axe throwing experience in Sioux Falls or Fargo! You may pay when you make the booking online or walk-ins can pay when you arrive.  You may also come have a cold drink and hang out, play some of our others games, or just watch others throw, whether you are in Sioux Falls or Fargo, we have the best axe throwing venue!   • How many people can axe throw with me?

    You can bring as many of your friends, family, co-workers, acquaintances, frenemies that you want to the best axe throwing in Fargo or Sioux Falls! If you have a smaller group, you can reserve as many spots as you want. Please note, you might be throwing at the same time with other people you don’t know, but that only makes it more fun! If you want a PRIVATE lane, you must pay for 8 spots to ensure the lanes are totally yours. If you are planning a holiday party in Sioux Falls or team building event in Fargo, you might want to coordinate dates/times with us a little ahead of time.   • I don’t know the first thing about axe throwing, who is going to help me?

    Not a problem! We have fully trained Axeperts in our Sioux Falls and Fargo locations. They will not only teach you the proper form and techniques for axe throwing or how to throw an axe, but will also make it incredibly fun! Rough Cut Social axe throwing coaches are here to assist you throughout your throwing time, whether you are here for a party or just a group outing, and we have fun games for you to use to set up a little friendly competition among teams. We are happy to explain the rules of axe throwing, too.

  • What should I wear for axe throwing?

    Flannel, flannel, and of course flannel! Kidding! You can wear anything at our axe throwing venue in Sioux Falls or Fargo, just make sure you have full range of motion. Most people wear jeans or shorts and a shirt.

    The ONLY rule we have is that there will be NO OPEN TOED SHOES! You will not be allowed to throw axes if you show up in them, meaning sandals, flip-flops, etc.

  • Do you have walk in times available for axe throwing Sioux Falls or Fargo?

    We do have axe throwing in Fargo and Sioux Falls for walk in customers, available on a first come, first serve basis. Please note, the best way to ensure that you get to throw on that day/time is to book it online prior! If you show up that day without a booking, you might have to wait if all lanes are full! No one wants that to happen, so be a smart axe and book ahead for the bets axe throwing in Sioux Falls and Fargo. We fill up fast because we are the best indoor activity in Sioux Falls and Fargo!

  • How do we book & pay separately for axe throwing?

    You can do it this way, but it will be much easier to just have one person book your axe throwing adventure! If you like to do things the hard way, please have everyone pick an axe throwing team captain. Have everyone add in the notes that they are playing with that team captain. Whether you are axe throwing in Fargo or axe throwing in Sioux Falls, we will try very hard to make sure you all get on the same lane!

    Did we mention it might be easier to have just one person book your axe throwing event?

  • What are the age limits for throwing axes?

    Anyone from 8-108 can throw an axe! We do have some rules though. Our Axeperts will be the final say in who can properly throw an axe and participate in axe throwing after assessing each individual’s coordination and strength. Any children between the ages of 8-14 need one adult for every child throwing an axe. Minors ages 15-18 need one adult present. Everybody throwing needs to sign a waiver prior to starting their axe throwing event. Anyone under the age of 18 will need their legal guardian to sign the waiver. No waiver, no throwing axes! A waiver link will be emailed to you after making your reservation for axe throwing at Rough Cut Social.

  • Where can I sign the waiver for Rough Cut Social?

    A waiver link will be emailed to you after making your reservation.  Rough Cut Social is the best axe throwing in Sioux Falls and Fargo. If you can learn how to throw an axe and want to be part of something fun to do indoors in Sioux Falls or Fargo, Rough Cut Social is the place to be.
